Lab I/O Box
The Gulmay Lab I/O Box is a convenient and cost effective means of interfacing the various components of an x-ray inspection system. The Lab I/O Box consists of a 400 x 200 x 200 steel enclosure rated to IP55. The enclosure contains the connections for the mains electrical supply, warning lamps, door/interlock switches and x-ray tube cooler supply and interface. In addition the enclosure contains the safety interlock relays for power supply interruption.The Lab I/O Box is supplied with standard 10 metre interface cables for connection to the Gulmay generator and control. Alternative cable lengths are available upon request. A RS232 version of the Lab I/O Box is available for use with Gulmay generators fitted with embedded control options.
GULMAY JA3200
Designed and manufactured by Gulmay, the JA3200 has been developed specifically for use with water cooled x-ray tubes. Coolant can be either water or a water/glycol mixture, which circulates between the cooler and the x-ray tube. The water is cooled by an air-cooled heat exchanger.
The capacity of the cooling unit depends on the temperature difference between the ambient temperature and the water outlet temperature. The cooling capacity is 3200W related to a difference of 11.5K between water outlet temperature and ambient temperature.
The JA3200 is equipped with an adjustable safety flow switch and an over-temperature switch providing potential free contacts for interface with the x-ray controller. The water pressure is limted by an adjustable pypass valve.
